It's never too late if you are able to get an adorable photo of your little bean! It's too late when the beans are all grown up and you only wish you had more photos like these to remind you why you love them so much!
Thanks, Trojan! Thanks, Tippyrich! It's so true. I was actually just thinking that we've hardly taken any video of Bean like we did with Abby. We'd better start soon or he'll be a teenager before we know it.
oh. my. God. I'm obsessed with these photos, they're incredible!! 1) how did you get them to look so old and antique-like??? 2)What camera were you using? 3) Is it digital and you're altering it post-production or is it just straight from an older camera?! 4) How did you round out the corners like that??
Seriously, I LOVE these pics, ESPECIALLY the ones of the birds!!!!
Thanks, Jess! Yeah, they are edited digitally after the fact. I am really just a point-and-shoot photographer who really enjoys doing some editing afterward. I actually don't have photoshop up and running yet and use a free photo editing site called picnik.com
The rounded corners and some of the color is an effect called 1960's. For the birds, I also used the Holga-ish and Lomo-ish effects in varying degrees. Go check it out and have fun!

Thanks, Gloria. He's a big cuddly, sweetie pie, too.
Arh I agree with you Mum - a great picture and a cutie as well!
